Verizon Wireless and Cox Communications have taken their partnership to southern Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.

Consumers in those regions now may buy Verizon smartphones, tablets and 4G wireless services from Cox, and Cox’s video, Internet and VoIP home phone services from Verizon.

The companies started selling each other’s services last year in parts of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada and Oklahoma. They tout the relationship as one that lets consumers access entertainment and communications packages from home or on the go.
