Zayo on Tuesday announced completing construction of its fiber network expansion in Nashville, Tenn.

The bandwidth infrastructure provider said it’s nearly doubled its fiber route mileage in the greater Nashville area to include 103 miles. This enables the company to serve the markets of Brentwood, Franklin and Oak Hill with dark fiber, Ethernet and wavelength services.

Zayo also offers longhaul and metro services in Johnson City and Kingsport and recently completed expansions in Memphis, including extending its fiber-to-the-tower network into northern Mississippi. In addition, the company operates carrier-neutral colocation facilities in Memphis and Nashville.

“Zayo continues to expand its fiber network throughout the state of Tennessee to meet the growing demand for bandwidth and dark fiber,” Zayo Fiber Solutions President Matt Erickson said in a statement.
