AppSense, a provider of secure user environment-management services, on Tuesday announced the expansion and unification of its global partner program.
The AppSense Partner Program includes newly increased investments, benefits and resources for providers in every international region. It has been designed to fuel providers’ success as they offer AppSense products to capitalize on fast-growing market opportunities, according to the company.
Jim Airdo, AppSense’s vice president of channels, tells Channel Partners his company is rolling out its two-year-old, successful U.S. program globally. This affords all AppSense partners the “ease, simplification, benefits and generosity of the U.S. program,” he said.
“All tiers of the program requirements are standardized globally,” he said. “So a Platinum in the United States has the exact same benefits of a Platinum in the United Kingdom or Germany, for instance. There is no dilution of the program when it comes to expectations and measurements.”
The program, which features Silver, Gold, Gold+ and Platinum partner levels, also includes a deal-registration protection program, a dedicated AppSense executive sponsor, a dedicated partner page on the AppSense website and the free use of AppSense Insight, a granular endpoint data collection service.
As part of the program expansion, the new partner designation of AppSense Go+ Partners has been implemented for Gold+ and Platinum partners. AppSense Go+ partners receive additional MDF earnings, benefits and rebates based on meeting annual expectations.{ad}
“Now all partners participate in higher deal-registration margins and our global Platinum and Gold+ partners are accruing MDF funds which will drive exponential growth and loyalty,” Airdo said.
Earlier this month, LANDesk announced an agreement to acquire AppSense. Jed Ayres, AppSense’s senior vice president of marketing, said the acquisition will create a host of new opportunities for employees, partners and customers of both AppSense and LANDesk. There is limited overlap in offerings, customers and partners, he said.
The AppSense partner program will not immediately be impacted by the acquisition, Airdo said.
“Too soon to tell (if LANDesk partners will join the AppSense program), but the joint solutions afford both partner ecosystems a very real strategic opportunity to deliver a total solution and make a lot of money doing it,” he said.
