Welcome

AttackIQ has hired Pedro Vidal, previously with Cylance, as vice president of North America sales.

Vidal will drive new business development opportunities and advise on strategic partnerships with AttackIQ’s channel partners. Last year, AttackIQ launched its Accelerate Channel Program and adopted a 100% channel sales model for the AttackIQ platform.

Accelerate targets partners that specialize in three key areas: service providers (MSPs, MSSPs and SIs), VARs and security consultants. Vidal will focus on deepening relationships with AttackIQ’s largest North American partnerships.

“Customers need certainty that the security measures they have in place are effectively preventing critical infrastructure disruption, and AttackIQ specifically meets this need,” Vidal said. “As someone who has worked with customers firsthand, they want to know if their security investments are effective. Continuous security validation tools not only allow a company to secure their network, they allow them to ensure their cybersecurity investments are working properly and identify redundant tools, saving the company money. I look forward to joining this team and ensuring our customers’ needs are met.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in December.

Prior to AttackIQ, Vidal served as vice president of global solution sales, vice president of western North America sales and vice president of global consulting sales at Cylance. He also held various sales roles at Intel Security and McAfee.

“Pedro is a proven force in the sales industry for security, making him a valuable addition to our growing executive team,” said Carl Wright, AttackIQ’s chief commercial officer. “He is a well-rounded executive, with 20 years of experience building business partnerships, developing sales teams and leading go-to-market strategies. The addition of Pedro will help strategically advance our footprint and meet the growing demand for our product.”

AttackIQ provides breach and attack simulation solutions.
