Network security platform provider ProtectWise on Wednesday rolled out its first channel program with Fishtech Labs, GuidePoint Security and Optiv as tier-1 anchor partners.
Founded in April 2013, ProtectWise is led by a team of security and SaaS industry veterans from McAfee, IBM, Mandiant and Proofpoint. The company has raised more than $37 million.
Program highlights include: a competitive compensation structure including discounts and points; a dedicated account manager and technical support resources; joint promotion opportunities; simple deal registration; free training; and a trial and demo account of the ProtectWise Platform.
Mark Rotolo, ProtectWise’s vice president of global sales, tells Channel Partners that his company decided to use a conflict-free, 100-percent channel business model to maximize deal opportunities and revenue for its partners. It only sells through partners, with no direct customers.
“This will help our platform scale and reach more customers efficiently,” he said. “Unlike most security vendors, we are 100 percent channel-focused and committed to the success of our partners. Given the fact that our network security platform is delivered and runs in the cloud, indirect sales is an extension of our business model.”{ad}
ProtectWise hopes to bring on more partners that “aim to provide state-of-the-art security, risk and compliance-management infrastructures,” Rotolo said.
“We chose our partners because they focus on providing next-generation approaches to security and we are dedicated to their success as well as our own,” he said.
ProtectWise uses software sensors to compress, optimize and passively replay all network traffic into the ProtectWise secure cloud platform.
