Corero Hires New Channel Sales VP

Michael Ross has joined security solutions provider Corero Network Security as vice president of channel sales, leading the company's North American channel strategy.

Michael Ross has joined security solutions provider Corero Network Security as vice president of channel sales, leading the company’s North American channel strategy.

Ross is tasked with growing mutually successful relationships between Corero and its ecosystem of value-added resellers, managed service providers and the channel community at large to help them sell, deploy and service the Corero First Line of Defense DDoS attack and cyber threat protection solutions, the company said.

Prior to joining Corero, Ross held several executive leadership positions within the sales and channel teams at Tibco Software. Previously, Ross served as vice president of channel sales for Blue Coat Systems. Ross also spent several years as area vice president of North America channel sales for RSA.

“The Corero solutions address customer needs for enhanced defense-in-depth security architectures to protect against the dynamic and evolving cyber risks targeting organizations that depend on the Internet for their day-to-day operations,” Ross said. “Corero is investing in the channel and is committed to helping its partners through joint marketing efforts, co-branding, sales and support.
