Digital Guardian Beefs Up Its Synergy Global Partner Program
Digital Guardian originally launched the Synergy program in 2015.
Digital Guardian has enhanced its Synergy Global Partner Program for security partners that resell its products or managed services, and deliver a range of professional services.
The enhancements will offer “enriched programs and support to help partners promote and grow their data protection businesses,” the company said. It originally launched the program in 2015.
Digital Guardian’s Marcus Brown
Marcus Brown, Digital Guardian’s vice president of global channels, tells Channel Partners that to keep pace with the increasing demand for data protection, his company has strengthened its commitment to channel partners and enhanced its global channel program. Its executive team recognized the importance of the program and decided to further invest in it to help accelerate partners’ abilities to uncover, develop and close new business, he said.
“The channel is increasingly more important in Digital Guardian’s growth strategy, as in 2017 alone, almost 100 percent of its new business goes through partners in EMEA and APAC, with more than 75 percent of this business through the channel in North America,” he said. “The success of the program has been a key driver for Digital Guardian’s bookings growth of 50 percent year-over-year for the last years.”
The enhanced program includes new channel enablement and messaging (sales and technical), channel marketing programs and funds, improved deal registration, and more detailed rules of engagement and policies, Brown said. All of this is automated in a partner portal with an extended team of channel account managers globally to service partners. The company also is offering a new tiering system with Authorized, Gold and Platinum levels, with new benefits for higher-tier partners who invest in the partnership.
The company’s threat aware data protection platform stops data theft from both insider threats and external adversaries. It performs across the corporate network, traditional endpoints, mobile devices and cloud applications, and is buttressed by a big data security analytics cloud service.
“With data protection at the forefront of customers’ priorities, especially as GDPR comes into effect on May 25, 2018, partners are looking for comprehensive and differentiated data protection platforms that allow them to penetrate this dynamic market,” Brown said. “In the year ahead, Digital Guardian has its sights on the continued growth of its team, partners and customers globally. Market demand has never been higher and the new program is focused on helping partners realize the data protection business opportunity as quickly as possible. The enhancements to Synergy align with the company’s trajectory of being more significant to its partners’ businesses through joint investment. In 2018, Digital Guardian is looking to grow its bookings via partners aggressively through the improved program as well as through signing new partners.”
Set Solutions, a provider of network security, secure remote access and bandwidth management, is a long-time Digital Guardian reseller.
“When we engage with Digital Guardian as a best-of-breed vendor, securing our customers’ data is their sole focus,” said John Marler, Set Solutions’ CEO. “It’s great to see Digital Guardian invest further in their partner program and help us respond to the increasing market demand for data protection. We look forward to expanding an already strong partnership with Digital Guardian through the new Synergy Partner Program.”
