GlobeX Data SA Brings DigitalSafe Cloud Solution to North America
GlobeX Data SA announced it will offer DigitalSafe to U.S. and Canadian customers.
Swiss cloud services provider (CSP) GlobeX Data SA is bringing its DigitalSafe security solution to North America.
The company said it will start offering DigitalSafe, a cloud solution that provides secure communications, file sharing and file storage, to U.S. and Canadian customers on July 15.
GlobeX Data SA boasts more than 500,000 European subscribers to date and plans to offer DigitalSafe for North American individuals and enterprises.
DigitalSafe features “military-grade encryption technology and unparalleled protection afforded by Swiss security and privacy laws for their personal and business file storage and retrieval needs,” according to GlobeX Data SA.

Comcast
Cox Communications
Samsung
SoftBank
Swisscom
GlobeX Data SA’s DigitalSafe Enterprise, meanwhile, is an expanded platform that is designed to help secure a company’s communications, file sharing and file storage.
“The U.S. is primed and ready for cloud-based file sharing technology that has no equal in terms of safety, privacy, security and reliability all backed by the world’s most stringent laws protecting personal online privacy,” GlobeX Data CEO Alain Ghiai said in a prepared statement. “DigitalSafe provides subscribers with the ultimate in security technology.”
DigitalSafe will be available via a free reduced storage account or paid subscription.
GlobeX Data SA said no DigitalSafe contract is required, and a subscription can be cancelled at any time.
