Navisite, Alert Logic Unleash Managed Threat Detection, Remediation

Navisite, part of Spectrum Enterprise, and Alert Logic, an MSSP, have teamed up to provide an enhanced, integrated portfolio of managed threat detection and remediation services aimed at helping enterprise clients achieve improved security.

Alert Logic’s SIEMless Threat Management platform is integrated in Navisite’s managed security service, enabling automated threat monitoring and remediation, and event insight and asset visibility via Navisite’s Proximity client portal.

Tom Bailey, Navisite’s vice president of product and professional services, tells Channel Partners that combining Alert Logic’s security platform and Navisite’s expertise in managed services provides channel partners with an offering that addresses the skills gap that exists in the market to deliver security solutions.

“The combined solution completely addresses the detection, response and remediation requirements that many clients want, but lack the skills and resources to implement,” he said. “Navisite and Alert Logic each have a network of channel partners that will benefit from the combined solution.”

Pairing the ability to detect and respond with the ability to quickly remediate security incidents as part of a managed service is the “new baseline” in managed security services, Bailey said.
