Pax8 Partners with TitanHQ on Security
Pax8 partners with TitanHQ to help MSPs protect their SMB customers.

Pax8 and TitanHQ, the cloud-based email and web protection vendor, just signed a distribution agreement that gives Pax8 partners access to TitanHQ products, such as SpamTitan Cloud and WebTitan.
TitanHQ offers email security, malware protection, DNS filtering and email archiving that target SMBs. SpamTitan Cloud is an email spam filter built for business, Office365, MSPs and schools. WebTitan is DNS-based security and web content filtering.

“TitanHQ’s cloud-based AI-driven threat intelligence technology protects email and web security solutions for MSPs and their customers,” said Ryan Walsh, chief channel officer at Pax8. “Our partners are excited about the addition of TitanHQ and the ability to protect their clients’ businesses by blocking malware, phishing, ransomware, and links to malicious websites from emails.
Techaisle’s 2019 US SMB and Midmarket security adoption trends research found that the SMB and midmarket are doing pretty well at deploying some security technologies, but protecting the mobile environment poses a bigger challenge.
Every user respondent in both the SMB and midmarket report they have anti-spam/email security and anti-malware/virus/spyware products deployed today. Web/content filtering is also commonly employed within both small business and midmarket organizations, with current usage levels at 54% in small business – with another 18% planning to deploy these products – and 62% in the midmarket, with an additional 18% planning to begin use.
Firewalls and VNs are commonly used to secure midmarket traffic, with 100% of midmarket respondents reporting the use of firewalls, and 52% are using VPNs, with another 25% planning to use a VPN in the near future. This is not as prevalent in the small business market where just 18% of respondents report current use of firewalls — and VPN use was not found in the data.
“I am delighted to partner with the Pax8 team,” said Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ. “Their focus and dedication to the MSP community is completely aligned with ours at TitanHQ, and we look forward to delivering our integrated solutions to their partners and customers.”
