ProcessUnity, the provider of cloud-based applications for risk and compliance management, has launched its first partner program with what is says are clearly defined terms and benefits.

The ProcessUnity Partner Program gives VARs, integrators and MSPs access to a portfolio of SaaS solutions designed to solve governance challenges for organizations of all sizes. Members will be able to refer, resell, service and renew ProcessUnity’s entire risk and compliance portfolio, including vendor risk management, policy and procedure management, contract management and more.

Amanda Giroux, ProcessUnity’s director of alliances, tells us her company’s partner activity has expanded to the point where it made sense to offer an official program.

“Third-party risk management is hot and ProcessUnity has built great brand recognition in the market,” she said. “As a result, we’re seeing an influx of new partner requests and companies that want to work with us. We want to scale effectively and successfully, and that requires training, sales tools, incentives and marketing opportunities. Introducing a standardized partner program was the clear next step.”

Partners will have access to competitive-protected margins, deal registration protection and incentives, and flexible partnership options — referral, implementation, managed services, consulting and more, the company said.

“Partner feedback absolutely played a role in the formulation of the new program,” Giroux said. “We had the benefit of working with a number of partners for years. We took advantage of those relationships and asked several of them what features, benefits and characteristics they would want to see in a channel program. Based on their input, we believe we developed a flexible, tiered system that provides everything partners need, including early product access, co-marketing opportunities, and sales and servicing support, so partners of all sizes can participate.”

The company is giving partners access to a “different class of business application,” and that’s going to allow them to sell into new accounts or new groups within existing accounts, she said. ProcessUnity is a “sticky” application with annual subscriptions, so partners will be able to build multiyear relationships with their customers instead of a series of individual transactions, she said.

“For now, the opportunity is for MSPs to build third-party risk management practices on our platform,” Giroux said. “We have several partners using the platform for that purpose today as many customers want to outsource their third-party risk programs. We expect the number of MSP partners to grow significantly over time.”

“Partnering with and integrating our financial health system into ProcessUnity’s platform over the last few years has only driven our efforts towards a more transparent business world forward, providing greater visibility and control of third-party risk management for our mutual clients,” said James Gellert, chairman and CEO of RapidRatings, a ProcessUnity partner.
