Automated security control solutions vendor ForeScout Technologies, Inc. joined the Secured by RSA Certified Partner Program  a partner program that works with software and hardware vendors to integrate their products with products from RSA — to incorporate the RSA enVision platform with its ForeScout CounterACT solutions. This partnership aims to provide enterprises with “dynamic situational awareness of network access and endpoint compliance issues while reducing log management and threat management complexity” between ForeScout CounterACT and RSA enVision solution.

RSA enVision solution assists enterprises by optimizing security-incident management and providing a centralized log-management service. The company designed its solution to facilitate the automated collection, analysis, alerting, auditing, reporting and secure storage of all logs. Due to the new partnership, the solution now enables security professionals to capture, retain, and analyze events generated from ForeScout CounterACT. This addition provides security professionals with the advanced incident response to pre-empt threats with breach forensics and compliance tasks.

Real-time access and endpoint compliance activity are shared between ForeScout CounterACT and RSA enVision platform. ForeScout’s solution provides network and host-based action on an endpoint based on policy, which includes adjusting an endpoint’s logging parameters.

Additional automated functions are being explored between the two companies including sending real-time endpoint configuration, and compliance details to RSA enVision and other products. “Conversely these RSA products could request CounterACT to take action such as to quarantine a device not adhering to policy or conducting suspicious or malicious activity,” Scott Gordon, vice president of worldwide marketing at ForeScout, told MSPmentor.

ForeScout provides automated solutions for network access control, mobile security, endpoint compliance and threat prevention. Its ForeScout CounterACT platform has been chosen by more than 1,300 enterprises in over 37 countries. More on the company’s partner program can be found here.
