Distribution giant Tech Data now supports MSPs that seek to grow their businesses through the Intel Security Managed Services Specialization program.
MSPs in the United States that meet the program’s requirements can access its features and tools directly through Tech Data, including McAfee/Intel Security services and assistance already available via its StreamOne Solutions Store to build new revenue streams around managed security services.
“With high-profile data breaches making headlines over the last year, there’s a heightened focus on security today — and this creates new opportunities for MSPs to grow their businesses,” said Stacy Nethercoat, Tech Data’s vice president of product marketing, TDCloud.
With features like pay-per-use pricing, rapid access to security products, efficient reporting and billing, and upfront discounts to maximize profitability, MSPs participating in the Intel program through Tech Data have what’s required to deliver “world-class, profitable managed security services,” Nethercoat said.
The Intel Security Partner program, formerly the McAfee Security/Alliance Program, delivers security services to resellers of all sizes and their end-user clients, offering a structure and tools to help MSPs start the sales cycle. Service providers can access updated training, education and enablement tools to boost their knowledge about Intel Security technology and help them maximize profitability.
“Our consistent, global security framework can be scaled through distribution, providing partners with access to broad, advanced security protection via a monthly subscription-based, pay-as-you-go model,” said Fernando Quintero, Intel Security’s vice president of channel sales in the Americas.
Tech Data enables 115,000 resellers to support the technology needs of end users in more than 100 countries. It generated $27.7 billion in net sales for the fiscal year that ended Jan. 31, 2015.
