Threat Stack Intros First Partner Program for MSSPs, MSPs, VARs

Threat Stack, a provider of cloud security and compliance, has rolled out its first formal partner program targeting MSPs, MSSPs and VARs.
With the new program, Threat Stack can enter new markets through its partners’ extensive geographic market presence, according to the company.
Hayley Hynes, Threat Stack’s vice president of business development, tells us her company has always focused on providing its customers value with demand-driven technology partnerships and integrations with companies like AWS, Red Canary and Pagerduty. Threat Stack also has worked opportunistically with MSSPs, MSPs and VARs in the past.

“There has been an increasing inbound demand from partners who don’t have the right solution for their customers when it comes to cloud security,” she said. “Additionally, the growing maturity of the cloud security market made it clear to us the time was right for a formal partner program. Threat Stack is growing extremely quickly and the channel program will help us accelerate that growth with partners that have a strong background in helping customers migrate to the cloud and adopt DevOps.”
The Threat Stack Cloud Security Platform extends security observability across the cloud management console, host, containers and application layers to help customers understand the full picture of their cloud environment, respond to incidents and reduce risk.
“MSSPs and MSPs can leverage that insight to respond to threats in real time and demonstrate long-term value to their customers by helping them proactively reduce risk in their cloud environment,” Hynes said. “Threat Stack also offers flexibility in how MSSPs and MSPs consume Threat Stack data, enabling them to directly integrate Threat Stack cloud security telemetry with existing security tools to gain a comprehensive view of their customers’ entire security ecosystem.”
VARs will be able to provide customers with the “industry’s only platform that combines security telemetry from across the entire cloud ecosystem in a single, unified solution,” according to the company.
“Most MSPs, MSSPs and VARs are working with customers that have understaffed security teams and are struggling to deal with the rapid migration to the cloud and DevOps,” Hynes said. “The legacy solutions most MSPs, MSSPs, and VARs have worked with in the past weren’t designed to solve the unique challenges of the cloud and DevOps, which leads to friction between them and their customers. Threat Stack offers a solution that was designed specifically for the cloud, giving them an advantage over competitors attempting to retrofit legacy solutions to solve problems they weren’t designed to solve.”
“Threat Stack has a long history of building strong technology partnerships and we’re excited to bring that same spirit of collaboration to resellers and managed service providers,” said Brian Ahern, Threat Stack’s CEO. “We are looking forward to working with partners like Optiv, Levvel and VLCM to help organizations securely achieve the business benefits of the cloud.”
