Two days ahead of the official kickoff of the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, Verizon Enterprise Solutions and Synnex have partnered in a first-of-its-kind distribution program.

Synnex is the first technology participant in this new distribution model, which will include Verizon’s Rapid Response Retainer for connectivity, security, cloud and collaboration services that the tech-distribution giant provides its network of solution providers.

Verizon technology will be wrapped around Synnex’s offerings, serving up a complete IT services package that resellers can position to end customers. Verizon expects to be able to reach new customers quickly through Synnex, and customers are able to access Verizon’s IT services while continuing to work with their trusted IT services advisor.{ad}

Verizon’s Rapid Response Retainer aims to help businesses respond immediately to a security incident. The program provides digital forensics, incident response and IT investigations at a moment’s notice. It is available ‘round the clock, around the world, and for major incidents Verizon can provide on-the-ground consultants. As the carrier continues to launch additional products under this model, Synnex will be a preferred distributor to bring them to market.

Verizon's Adam Famularo“Security is critical to every business, but breach response requires a specialized skill set that few companies possess – that’s why they need to be able to quickly obtain high-level expertise when an incident occurs,” said Tim Acker, vice president, mobility and connected solutions, SYNNEX Corporation. “Verizon’s Rapid Response Retainer addresses that need and is an ideal fit for our customers. Moreover, our new value-added distributor relationship makes it easy and profitable for our resellers to add depth to their offerings by combining Verizon’s expansive portfolio of advanced communications, security, mobility, and managed services with their unique solutions for end-customers.”

“We are focused on providing fast and efficient ways for customers to access our products and services, and expanding our global reach,” said Adam Famularo, vice president of global channels for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. “SYNNEX was an ideal choice to be a Verizon value-added distributor given their large network of partners and customers and our success working with them in the past.”
