Vijilan Security and IT By Design (ITBD) have partnered to create mXDR, a unified managed extended detection and response (XDR) firm. Both companies work with MSPs.

The strategic partnership provides a turnkey solution for MSPs to detect, analyze and investigate cyberattacks. It also provides threat containment, eradication and remediation.

Vijilan Security is a security monitoring, detection and response vendor. It’s known for its U.S.-based security operations center (SOC) services, cloud-native security information and event management (SIEM), and security analysts and incidents responders.

ITBD provides optimized network and security solutions for MSPs in the United States and around the world.

ITBD and Vijilan Security will offer talent, technology and methodologies for both SOC sand network operations centers (NOC).

“The benefits of this joint partnership are time to value, threat intel and hunting, improved collaboration, managed XDR, automation and orchestration, and faster mean time to detect and respond,” he said.

Javid Khan is ITBD’s CTO and integrator.

“The MSP market demands sophisticated operations, and high expectations of both network and security operations,” he said. “Innovation in the MSP segment requires detection and response capabilities beyond endpoint agents, and should include network and cloud applications. Both ITBD and Vijilan are going to provide a customized delivery experience with dedicated teams of security analysts, incident responders and partner support specialists who work within a given vertical and geography, and are intimately tailored to the MSPs’ environments.”
