CDI (Computer Design & Integration) has established CDI Healthcare, a segmented group focused on client success on the health care industry. CDI has tapped Robert Burgess, a 25-year health care IT veteran, as head of the newly formed vertical.

“CDI has a long history of enabling our clients to architect, procure and deploy secure automated, software-defined, hybrid cloud solutions for mission-critical health care applications. [This is] all while reducing risk and saving tens of millions of dollars,” said Burgess. “We are expanding these capabilities across CDI’s entire footprint and are in a position to offer the next-generation of solutions for digital transformation.”

Solutions for the Health Care Industry

The CDI Healthcare team aims to help organizations achieve and surpass their business outcomes. Solutions for intelligent operations, automation and DevOps will work together. This will give health care providers the opportunity to manage and operate their systems more effectively.

“No one wants to wake up and see their name in the newspapers,” said Jason Kalvesmaki, chief revenue officer, CDI. “Health care leaders understand they are directly in the crosshairs for malicious actors. What makes this threat worse is the direct impact it can have on human life and the local communities. I personally feel a strong sense of duty to do right by our health care clients and I am honored to be able to put additional focus, investment and dedication into this important vertical.”

Providing Elite Security

Kalvesmaki went on to say that CDI (No. 150 on the Channel Futures 2022 MSP 501) will assist their clients with an entire suite of capabilities. These aim to maximize the customer’s investment in infrastructure, and streamline and optimize their operations. They will also provide elite security solutions to defend from attacks.

“We are excited to lead the charge in revolutionizing the way health care utilizes [its] IT and positively impact patients and their communities,” said Kalvesmaki.

Organizations will be able to access CDI’s elite security solutions team. They will also be able to tap into penetration testing, endpoint protection and more. Obviously, stability and availability of records are paramount for health care organizations. So, the CDI Healthcare team will provide solutions designed to drive value and manage risk. This is whether data is on-premises, or in terms of secure cloud management.
