8x8 Updates Virtual Office Pro Offering

8×8 has updated its Virtual Office Pro hosted unified communications offering with a slew of improvements that provide enhanced capabilities.

8×8 Virtual Office Pro is a suite of hosted Web-based communications and collaboration services that includes voice, fax, web conferencing, call recording, chat and mobile application. Using an online dashboard, users can access all of the features from any location using a PC and Web browser.

Version 2.0 features improved softphone functionality, including advanced and instant call forwarding, call transfer, call waiting, three-way calling, multiple call appearance lines, call and voice-mail transfers and one-click calling from Outlook, Google and social media networks; additional faxing capabilities including the ability to send multiple documents in the same fax and create a customized fax cover sheet, plus unlimited send and receive capability; iPhone iOS4 multitasking support; ability to post to Twitter and Facebook directly from the Virtual Office Online dashboard; enhanced call queuing; and video chat.
