ABP Technology Offers Skip2PBX
July 18, 2007
ABP Technology said it will offer Skip2PBX, software developed by Italys PC Service designed for connecting office PBX systems with Skype, through its channel partners.
Dallas-based ABP focuses primarily on VoIP, secure remote management and IT communications monitoring. ABP sells and distributes VoIP and other IP products throughout North and South America and intends to get behind Skip2PBX as it plans on introducing SIP support, the company said.
Skip2PBX was developed so companies could safely integrate Skype with their existing PBX systems. It has a modified Linux core and can run up to 30 simultaneous lines. The SIP to Skype support is expected to be available in September.
