AdvanTel Names Long-Time Employee as CEO

The systems integrator's previous top exec remains as board chairman.

Systems integrator AdvanTel Networks has appointed Dan Ferguson as its new president and CEO.

Ferguson holds the role now; he has replaced Roger McGibbon, who remains as board chairman. Previously, Ferguson served as AdvanTel’s CFO and vice president of sales. He has worked for the California-based company since 1986.

“Dan’s experience in managing the different aspects of our business will be a significant asset in advancing our strategy,” McGibbon said in a prepared statement.

AdvanTel is an Avaya Platinum Service Expert Partner and a Juniper Elite Partner. It specializes in security, LAN, wireless/WAN, traditional voice and VoIP, as well as contact centers, project management, and professional and managed services.
