AireSpring has announced the completion of interoperability testing with Critical Links, a global provider of unified voice, data and IT solutions for SMBs. Critical Links’ flagship product, the edgeBOX, is a multifunction gateway appliance that includes VoIP/IP PBX, VPNs, security, NAC, QoS and a Wi-Fi access point as well as a fax-server, Web server, e-mail server, print server and data storage. The edgeBOX is available as a scalable and fault-tolerant appliance which supports up to 300 users.

“The certification of edgeBOX with AireSpring’s SIP trunking solution enables the SMB customer to acquire state-of-the-art telephony and data capabilities at the lowest price point in the market. Notably, the combined solution does not require SMB customers to make trade-offs between competitive capabilities and cost, and bucks the trend in the current economy,” said Abdul Kasim, vice president for global marketing and business development at Critical Links.

AireSpring’s local and long-distance SIP trunking products allow organizations to scale their IP-enabled equipment, and address the changing needs of growing companies. With AireSpring SIP trunking, everything between the customer and the AireSpring network is pure SIP, providing low rates on every call.
