PRESS RELEASE — DALLAS — The office can now be nearly anywhere you want it to be. AT&T has efficiently integrated all of the capabilities from its mobile voice focused AT&T CollaborateSM – Enhanced Mobile, into AT&T Collaborate, our leading hosted voice and collaboration solution.
AT&T Collaborate – Enhanced Mobile gives users a mobile-first, native dialing option. Native dialing allows customers to make and receive phone calls without opening an app while simultaneously taking advantage of the rich feature set of AT&T Collaborate. The Enhanced Mobile single-number solution includes business-class features such as a robust auto attendant, corporate caller ID and new collaboration capabilities.
The single number solution also means users can easily unify all of their devices – desk phone, mobile phone, computer or tablet – under a single phone number. So, outgoing calls from a mobile device, office phone or computer will be identical to the recipient.
Users of AT&T Business UnlimitedSM Enhanced with Private Wi-Fi continue to receive Enhanced Mobile’s native dialing capability at no additional cost. AT&T Collaborate users can partner their personal mobile devices with the AT&T Business UnlimitedSM Enhanced with Private Wi-Fi plan for improved quality of service along with the reliability and increased security of AT&T’s mobile network.
According to GlobalWorkplaceAnalytics.com in July 20181, employees can be away from their desk as much as 60% of the time. That means seamless access to traditional workflow capabilities, regardless of device, is critical for business success.
“Our customers tell us they’re less concerned about where employees work than how to maximize their time wherever they are,” says Roman Pacewicz, chief product officer, AT&T Business. “We’ve taken huge steps in integrating our wireline and mobile solutions. Our leading edge-to-edge capabilities help businesses bridge the gap between the office and nearly anywhere else. This is critical to compete better in an increasingly competitive and connected environment.”
AT&T Collaborate and Enhanced Mobile include efficient access to AT&T Collaborate Meetings, which now supports up to 200 audio and video participants in various combinations.
We make this possible through a redesigned web portal with an easier, more robust interface enabling users to access an array of service management capabilities and features.
In addition, the app intelligently combines communications with business cloud applications and aggregates relevant information, including communication history and documents, within the centralized collaboration space.
“AT&T Collaborate offers a compelling value proposition to businesses looking for feature-rich Unified Communications solutions, offered in simple packaging and at competitive price points,” says Elka Popova, Vice President and Senior Fellow, Connected Work and Digital Experience, Frost & Sullivan.
“Heading into the office no longer means what it used to. We build every enhancement into AT&T Collaborate to help ensure that no matter what ‘office’ means to you, productivity won’t be an issue,” says Pacewicz.
