Unified communications developer CosmoCom and BandTel, a provider of SIP trunking services, said Monday they are combining their products to help enterprises and IP contact centers save money.

The companies announced the partnership in time for the Internet Telephony Conference & Expo taking place this week in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

They said businesses deploying CosmoComs technology on-premises, alongside BandTels SIP trunks, can eliminate the hardware, maintenance and IT personnel costs associated with VoIP gateways.

With CosmoCom and BandTel, the VoIP gateways are in the network, saving enterprises both time and money, explained Ari Sonesh, CosmoCom chairman and CEO. Implementing an IP contact center is faster and less expensive, making an already strong business case even more compelling.

CosmoCom and BandTel both sell through channel partners.
