BCN Telecom Announces Agreement With Powercom

BCN Telecom announced it has made a working capital and equity investment in Powercom, a privately held facilities-based telecommunications provider located in Beaver Dam, Wis., serving approximately 16,000 business and residential customers. As part of the investment structure, BCN Telecom will provide executive leadership of Powercom under a multiyear management control agreement. Powercom provides local phone service, long-distance and Internet access services spanning five Midwestern states with a concentration in Wisconsin and Minnesota. This marks the third strategic transaction for BCN Telecom within the last 18 months.
