BellSouth Deploys Avaya IP Telephony Products, Services

BellSouth Corp. on Tuesday announced it has entered into an agreement with Avaya Inc. to resell Avaya IP telephony products to businesses. Customers now can work with BellSouth as a single point of contact to address telephony, messaging and contact center requirements for Avaya IP telephony products.
BellSouth will market and sell the following product suites and services: Avaya MultiVantage Communications Applications, which includes Avaya Communication Manager IP telephony software and contact center, messaging, mobility and business continuity applications; Avaya MultiVantage Express, designed specifically for medium businesses with a single-server platform and includes Avaya Communication Manager with built-in communications, messaging, mobility and management applications; Avaya IP Office, a converged voice and data system designed for SMBs that allows businesses to deploy an infrastructure that supports traditional voice functionality with the option to migrate to IP telephony; Avaya one-X Mobile, Desktop and Deskphone Editions, a suite that provides business features and one-number access to and from users with cellular, PC-based or desktop phones; and Avaya Professional and IP Support Services, which deliver pre- and post-installation consulting and management services for IP telephony customer support.
