BlueCat Networks has expanded its channel program in response to the increasing global demand for its Proteus IPAM (IP address management) solution and Adonis family of DNS/DHCP appliances, said the company.

BlueCat will focus its channel strategy on global technology providers, brand-name systems integrators and a portfolio of national and regional technology resellers. The company said it intends on selectively interviewing and qualifying channel program members, and expects its global channel program to account for the majority of new sales.

The multitiered channel program will make it simple for organizations to purchase BlueCat Networks’ IPAM technologies and DNS/DHCP appliances from a highly qualified partner with first-hand knowledge of the local market, explained BlueCat. The channel partner ecosystem also will provide pre-sales and post-sales service. Selected resellers will be trained and certified to ensure knowledgeable hands-on service.

BlueCat’s technology eliminates legacy solutions and enables administrators to design networks with a simple conceptual view, and then deploy, manage, monitor and audit IP addresses across the organization.
