Bridgepointe Names Former XO Sales Director to New Post

Bridgepointe Technologies, the master telecom and IT services agency, has named Mike Pereira as its vice president of sales and sales engineering, which is a new position for the company. Bridgepointe says Pereira will further support the company’s growing group of subagents.

Pereira most recently was director of sales for XO Communications, where he oversaw channel and direct sales for Northern California. Before that, he was director of sales engineering at XO, where he led various engineering teams responsible for pre- and post-sales engineering, product development, training and network expansion.

“We believe the most effective way to support our subagents in today’s environment of more complex solutions is to provide experienced Bridgepointe resources who are readily available to work directly with them and their prospects,” said Bridgepointe Technologies co-founder, Scott Evars. “Bringing this expertise in-house will strengthen our ability to deliver the most comprehensive solution for our agents and their customers.”
