Brightpoint to Distribute HP iPAQ

Brightpoint Inc. said Tuesday its subsidiary Brightpoint North America L.P. will customize and distribute the HP iPAQ hw6945 series Mobile Messenger to regional carriers, MVNOs, VARs and retailers in the United States.

The deal will allow regional carriers and MVNOs to offer access to the GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless data network as well as Wi-Fi, GPS, infrared and Bluetooth wireless technologies.
