Broadcore Adds to Channel Team
Kristy Thomas will have responsibility for channel recruitment and support in her new role as global sales executive.

Hosted UC provider Broadcore announced Wednesday that it has hired Kristy Thomas as global sales executive, with responsibility for channel recruitment and support.
Thomas will be charged with expanding Broadcore’s presence in medium business and enteprise markets, including education and government verticals.
Thomas joins Broadcore from Skyriver Communications where she was an indirect channel manager. Prior to that she spent four years at Vintalk (formerly Vinculum) as its COO and later senior vice president of sales and marketing. Previous roles include vice president of products and services for NexAira and vice president of program management for Cognigen Business Systems. She spent eight years as proposal and project manager for SAIC, an IT services company.
In her new role, Thomas reports to Michael Bacich, vice president of sales for Broadcore, who also oversees the company’s two-year-old indirect sales program. Thomas has a peer in Medy Shahiveissi, a senior account executive.
Broadcore has more than 25 indirect agents, which contribute about 50 percent of the company’s annual revenue.
