BroadSoft Inc.s IP services now are certified as interoperable with Grandstream Networks GXP21xx/14xx series of high-definition IP phones and the GXV3175/3140 IP multimedia phone.

The new GXP series of SIP phones for enterprises and call centers features HD voice quality, XML customization flexibility, and productivity applications. The tablet-like multimedia devices, on the other hand, come with access to real-time Web and social applications, a 7-inch touchscreen LCD, 1.3-megapixel camera, integrated Wi-Fi and Power over Ethernet. Grandstream is planning to add some advanced telephony features for enterprise users.

For now, BroadSoft can offer a variety of hosted unified communications options to SMBs and enterprises worldwide, the company said. Grandstreams technology allows for automated XML provisioning with BroadSofts device management software, which lets users deploy the phones right away.
