VoIP provider Broadvox on Monday announced completing its merger with Cypress Communications, a provider of hosted unified communications, managed VoIP and other services.

The combined company will operate under the legal name Broadvox LLC, but retain Cypress as a brand of its service offerings.

In a press release, Dallas-based Broadvox said the combined company will generate roughly $100 million in annual revenues and employ about 250 people.

In October, the companies stated that the merger would provide Cypress access to Broadvoxs network backbone for direct origination and termination of voice traffic while expanding Broadvoxs offerings through Cypress unified communications suite of services. In a recent press statement, Broadvox also said the merger will enable the company to provide local exchange services in 32 states.

We are excited about bringing Broadvox and Cypress together to deliver hosted Unified Communications and SIP Trunking to SMBs and Enterprise customers,” said Broadvox Chairman and CEO Andre Temnorod, who will retain his position, in a statement.

Broadvox revealed that its co-founder, Eugene Blumin, will remain chief operating officer while David Byrd will continue to serve as vice president of sales and marketing. Broadvoxs management team also will include the following individuals: Frank Grillo, executive vice president of Implementation, Support and Product Marketing; and Scott Drake, chief financial officer.

The company will remain headquartered in Dallas and maintain regional offices in Atlanta, where Cypress is based, and Cleveland.

Broadvox also revealed the company will continue to support the Unified Communications products, C4 IP and C3 IP, under the Broadvox brand while the Shared Tenant Services products, C2, C2 Enhanced and C1, will continue to be branded as Cypress.

The company further noted that it will continue to support customers on all three hosted unified communications platforms, C4 IP, C3 IP and GO!VBX.

Broadvox supports telecommunications carriers, enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses.
