June 19, 2008
Managed VoIP provider Broadvox has achieved SIP interoperability with Epic Systems Inc. IP PBX products. This certification assures customers that Broadvox can share and exchange information with the Epic Systems products, providing a secure, cost-effective VoIP solution for SMBs using SIP trunks, the companies explained.
David Byrd, vice president of product management at Broadvox, said that combining Broadvox’s GO! SIP Trunking with Epic’s IP PBX systems, phones and adapters is part of the company’s strategy to migrate SMBs to VoIP “without sacrificing quality or reliability,” and that Epic’s systems are delivered at “a much lower cost than TDM-based products.”
With phone numbers from more than 7,000 rate centers, Broadvox can provide new or port existing numbers nationwide. The Broadvox VAR Partner Program provides up-front commissions and recurring monthly revenue.
Broadvox also recently announced interoperability with Sutus Inc.
