Bruce Chatterley, who used to work for MegaPath as the president of business markets, has accepted the role of CEO at Broadvox.

The news marks Chatterley’s return to the channel; he left MegaPath last year when Dan Foster was brought back to the company. Now, as head of Broadvox, Chatterley will oversee the IP services provider’s strategy and growth.

I am very excited to join Broadvox and look forward to working with the team to drive future growth," Chatterley said in a prepared statement. "The company platform, both financially and technology-wise, is extremely strong and will serve as a powerful launching point for our new initiatives in the marketplace."

Chatterley became a familiar name in the channel after Best Buy bought Speakeasy, where he served as president and CEO, in 2007. Then, when Best Buy sold the Speakeasy division to MegaPath, Chatterley took over as president of business markets. He was part of the team that integrated MegaPath, Covad and Speakeasy. Chatterley has worked in the telecom industry for more than 25 years.

Meanwhile, Broadvox co-founder Andre Temnorod and long-time CEO will remain chairman of the board.

Appointing Bruce Chatterley as CEO is a major win for Broadvox,” said Temnorod in a press release. "Bruce is a decisive leader with extensive industry experience, and we are pleased to have him as part of our management team to continue our history of success and operational excellence.”

Broadvox specializes in VoIP, SIP trunking and hosted unified communications.
