BT has announced the launch of its high-definition (HD) Video Bridging Service.

The new HD Video Bridging Service includes a variety of connectivity and pricing options, including automated Self Service bridging. With Self Service, customers can use BT’s Engage Meeting Manager to schedule, launch and control on-demand meetings through a secure Web-hosted portal. Customers can move from Self Service to a higher level of service, such as Assisted and Custom Event levels, while still managing their video conferencing program cost-effectively.

Customers can choose to use their preferred network provider and connect via public and private IP and ISDN networks. BT’s Video Bridging Service also allows customers to mix both standard and HD endpoints on the same call.

BT’s Video Bridging Service is available globally, and supported by BT’s extensive IP network across more than 170 countries, 24/7/365 helpdesk services, and many other end-to-end managed service solutions.
