Highland Lakes Adds Web-Enabled Services

Highland Lakes Software (www.highlandlakessoftware.com) has ann-ounced availability of web-enabled

customer service functions in its

flagship offering, the Communications Accounting System (CAS).

Users can offer their customers access to current and previous statements, as well as account history information, via the Internet.

“We are very excited to lengthen a long list of customer service tools that CAS gives our clients”, said Dennis Killebrew, director of marketing for the software developer. “This subsystem makes web-based statementing happen today, with continued enhancements for the future already in the works.”

Also available is the integration of a feature-rich product catalog subsystem in the CAS. This new subsystem allows users to set up extensive service bundles and multifeature products. It also provides reporting and historical status information covering sales of items in the catalog.

“While the benefits that this enhancement brings to the table will appeal to all telecom/datacom operators, we believe that our CLEC and ASP clients will be especially well-served by the new subsystem–it is convergence simplified!” Killebrew said.

Highland Lakes says CAS users may construct products, which may be a blend of an unlimited number of goods and services, where each product component may be “toggled on or off,” depending on the end user’s needs.

In addition, product history, by service component or by end user will

be available for management and trending analysis.
