Network One, MicroCorp Ink $65 Million
Distribution Deal

In one of the largest contracts signed between a facilities-based carrier and an
independent agency, Atlanta-based MicroCorp Inc. has agreed to sell $65 million of
Atlanta-based Network One’s services over five years to small and mid-sized businesses in
the carrier’s service area, which includes 22 states east of the Mississippi.

Under the agreement, TheAgentsNetwork, a division of MicroCorp composed of more than
750 independent agents, will distribute a custom suite of Network One’s long distance
products as well as an integrated offering of local, long distance and Internet services.
The services will be billed to end users on a single invoice, either printed or online.

The distribution deal is the third carrier agreement for MicroCorp, which has emerged
as one of the nation’s largest master agencies by exclusively representing Cable &
Wireless USA, Vienna, Va.
