Sprint Improves Wholesale Order Management
Sprint Wholesale
(www.sprintbiz.com) will expand its portfolio of e-business applications with the release of two new solutions that permit greater customer management and control in order management.
The Sprint Wholesale DeskTop Manager III and Sprint Wholesale InfoLink, electronic order management tools, will replace previous order-entry tools utilizing Sprint Mail (e-mail) as well as labor-intensive fax systems.
Designed to provide greater speed and accuracy, the solutions will be available around the clock and will offer SLAs.
Sprint Wholesale DeskTop Manager, a web-based order-entry and customer maintenance service, is a back-office tool that provides real-time interface to Sprint Wholesale customer databases and resources.
The first two phases of DeskTop Manager allow users to view real-time, online customer databases and distributed data platforms, and ensure up-to-date service information on automatic number identification (ANI), FONCARD and toll-free inventory.
With DeskTop Manager III, customers can change, add, delete, block or unblock services for ANIs, FONCARDs, toll-free and customer accounts. It is designed to create an efficient electronic solution for customers using fax and batch processes because it allows real-time orders. This results in greater customer management and control over the process.
In addition, DeskTop Manager is free of charge to Sprint Wholesale customers.
Sprint Wholesale InfoLink is a high-volume order management electronic system for sophisticated customers who need near real-time processing, 24 hours a day.
It receives up to 48 batches per day per reseller. Designed to streamline order processing for large companies, InfoLink offers powerful batch file transmission of large volumes of orders for Sprint Wholesale’s switched outbound services (including ANIs, FONCARDs and validated accounting codes).
Customers also can resolve errors with the help of an automated alert in returned records.
