IP UNITY UPGRADES AUDIO, WEB
CONFERENCING PLATFORM
IP Unity Corp. announces the release
of IP Unity Conferencing 2.0 with advanced features that include integration
with Microsoft Corp.’s Outlook application, conference recording/playback

The new features of this release
make it easier for users to schedule and conduct audio and/or Web-based
meetings, says the company.
Specific updates to version 2.0 of
the Conferencing Services application include the following:
Real-time outcall and invite functionality
Microsoft Outlook calendar integration
Complete Outlook address book integration
Slide sharing
Recording and playback

WITH OSS CLEARINGHOUSE
Info Directions announced that it
will provide clients using its CostGuard OSS/BSS system with a seamless,
automated provisioning solution for national carriers through NeuStar’s
LSRexpress clearinghouse service.
"Our ability to manage
pre-order and local service requests in an automated manner is an important
value-add for our clients," said Donald Culeton, president of Info
Directions. "The combination of manual order processing and maintaining
Local Service Ordering Guidelines (LSOG) with one or more carriers can be
overwhelming — and costly — for service providers. The interface between
CostGuard’s workflow management component and NeuStar’s LSRexpress solution
eliminates that responsibility for our clients and improves the speed and
efficiency of the provisioning process."
