CommPartners (Booth 109), an IP-based network operator and telephony services and solutions company, has completed a $15 million capital financing round that will let it accelerate the buildout of its nationwide IP/PSTN for VoIP services, and augment its sales channel and carrier services programs.

The company plans to extend its IP/PSTN network coverage to 95 percent of U.S. local calling areas by the end of this year.

The companys current coverage area features an NFL city footprint with VoIP services and local telephone numbers available in major metropolitan areas across the United States. With more than 20 state certifications in place, CommPartners has applied for and expects to obtain CLEC status in all 50 states by mid-2005, making it one of the largest CLEC networks in the United States.

The company also will use the new funds to enhance further its CommPartners Management System (CMS) proprietary OSS platform for automated provisioning, billing, user interface and back-office support.

CommPartners also expects to dedicate new dollars to the development of its sales channels and partner support programs, including training, marketing and sales support of its wholesale partners.
