Covista Completes GT3, ClearEnd Purchases

Covista Communications Inc. said Monday it has finished the acquisitions of GT3 Holdings Corp. and ClearEnd Corp.

Terms of the deal werent disclosed, as Covista is privately held.

GT3, which has been operating under the name of General Telecom, specializes in IP services, while ClearEnd provides hosted IP PBXs and unified communications. Covista said the two companies will strengthen its IP standing.

Covista Communications is now uniquely positioned to deliver voice and unified communication services over an all IP network and increase our market share through existing and new sales, said Kevin Alward, president and CEO of Covista.

Covista is headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn. GT3 and ClearEnd are based in New York City. They now are wholly owned subsidiaries of Covista.
