EarthLink Introduces Small Office DSL Plus

EarthLink Inc. has launched Small Office DSL Plus, a high-speed Internet connection that does not require local phone service, instead using a line set aside for data service.

The service is available through EarthLink Business Solutions. It features high-speed service for phone systems that do not support line-shared DSL; broadband access that works with third-party voice systems; professional installation at no extra cost; and free hardware after rebate.

This service takes away the added expense of a local phone line and is a perfect solution for small and medium-sized businesses that cant get DSL from their local phone company, said Linda Beck, executive vice president and general manager for EarthLink Business Solutions.

Small Office DSL Plus offers download speeds up to 6mbps and upload speeds up to 768kbps. Service plans start at $79.95 per month. The new service is available to both new DSL users and existing EarthLink Business DSL customers.
