Josh Lowenthal, longtime chief operating officer at FreeConferenceCall.com, is now the company’s president.

In his new role, he takes on responsibilities for the overall business strategy, leading the company’s vision and stimulating innovation in product development, marketing and sales, profitability and market leadership.

FreeConferenceCall.com operates in 60 countries on five continents, connecting more than 40 million callers each month. Services include HD audio conferencing, screen sharing, video conferencing, audio and visual recordings, customized greetings, security features, desktop scheduling and mobile applications.{ad}

The company has been growing quickly, more than doubling its minute volume and workforce in five years, it said.

In addition to helping carriers expand their service portfolios, Lowenthal is overseeing the growth of FreeConferenceCall.com For Business. This newly launched service for midmarket and enterprise customers delivers conferencing and collaboration products and services.

The company promises partners who sell its SmartMeeting platform commissions larger than the industry norm, no channel conflict, a dedicated channel support team and more.
