Genesys Conferencing (Booth 320) is taking the wraps off new Genesys Meeting Center features for Web conferencing: The Desktop Meeting Launcher, Xpress Meeting and an updated interface.

Desktop Meeting Launcher lets users download a meeting launcher icon, which sits in their system trays and computer desktops, enabling them to launch a meeting with two clicks. Moderators can start ad hoc or pre-scheduled meetings without needing to fully launch their Web browsers and log in to Genesys Meeting Center. With XPress Meeting, users can choose a simplified Web interface that launches through the meeting launcher or a desktop icon, so moderators can share an application quickly without having to log in. Finally, an updated interface provides improved navigation and user-friendly icons that make it easier for end users to locate all available meeting options.

The new feature set is part of the companys unique Support, Training, Ease-of-Use and Pricing (STEP) Quadrant, a comprehensive initiative designed to encourage the adoption of Web conferencing by the companys traditional audio conferencing users. STEP includes customer implementation assistance and training, product features designed specifically to meet customer needs and unique Multimedia Minute bundled pricing.

Genesys Meeting Center offers Web, voice and desktop video conferencing in one integrated service that is available on demand. Simple point-and-click commands allow moderators to deliver PowerPoint presentations, share and edit any document or application in real time and record meetings for playback later.
