Impact Telecom Introduces New Text Messaging Service

CHANNEL PARTNERS – Impact Telecom (Booth 1033) has launched its new text messaging service, ImpactText, and text-enabled toll-free numbers, for sale through partners.

ImpactText lets commercial users send and receive text messages to individuals or groups over existing toll-free numbers or via Impact’s new toll-free numbers. There are options for overseeing contacts, sending, receiving and scheduling text messages from short codes, long codes or even toll-free numbers. There’s also a Web portal for managing customized SMS messages and accessing messages, with no downloads or installs required.

Text-enabled, toll-free numbers can help businesses reduce time-consuming telephone conversations and streamline customer experience by providing one number for voice and text interactions, Impact Telecom said.

“In today’s mobile world, businesses are seeking new ways to market to and communicate with customers without adding additional costs or labor,” said Bob Beaty, president and CEO of Impact Telecom.

ImpactText joins Impact Telecom’s growing commercial product lineup – including ImpactConnect Hosted PBX, SIP trunking and PRI, local phone service, toll-free origination, domestic and international long-distance, and data services – for partners.
