INTEC RELEASES LATEST VERSION OF INTERCONNECT OPTIMIZED ROUTING

Intec
Telecom Systems, an OSS provider, is releasing the latest version of its
InterconnecT Optimized Routing (OR). InterconnecT OR optimizes an operators
margins through tighter control of costs and revenue when trading international
traffic minutes, says the company. InterconnecT OR is fully integrated with
Intecs InterconnecT billing system, supporting the interchange of carrier
rates, customer prices and rated summary data.

The latest version of InterconnecT OR is composed of modules that can be
packaged in different ways depending on the operators needs. InterconnecT OR Manager manages rates and generates wholesale business
performance reports; InterconnecT OR Selector determines an optimized routing
plan and destination breakout; InterconnecT OR Trader supports the buying and
selling of minutes; InterconnecT OR Programmer programs routing instructions in the network
elements; and InterconnecT OR Monitor produces near real-time carrier quality and
traffic volume metrics, says Intec.

Combined, InterconnecT ORs modules provide a number of business benefits
for the user, including the potential to reduce incoming interconnect bills up
to 10 percent while increasing internal productivity by up to 60 percent, says
the company.

The rollout of InterconnecT OR will be assisted by a strategic partnership
agreement between Intec and Telmate APS, a company created in 2002 following its
acquisition of the routing software products from Ericsson.

TMI PUBLICATION HELPS CARRIERS WITH NOTICE REQUIREMENTS

Technologies Management Inc. (TMI), a regulatory consulting firm for telecom
carriers, is offering a new Carrier Recurring Customer Notice Requirement
publication. This electronic publication, covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia
and the FCC, is designed to help carriers comply with recurring, end-user
customer notice requirements.

The latest of TMIs publications focuses on those customer notices that
must be repeated by carriers on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, says
TMI President Connie Wightman. It is the only comprehensive publication of
its kind to help CLECs and IXCs manage their obligations for ongoing customer
notice.

The publications features include information about frequency of notice,
how notice must be given and specific text requirements; interactive, electronic
format; sorting capabilities by region, state, carrier type, issue and frequency of
notification; and annual updates. Telecom companies will be able to find in one document the requirements for
consumer issues including do-notcall, PIC freezes, TRS, bill itemization and
consumer rights.

TELUTION UNVEILS
MULTISERVICE BUNDLING, OPERATIONS SUPPORT CAPABILITIES

Telution
Inc. has unveiled COMX 3.5, designed to simplify operational processes that
enable service providers to bring bundles of video, voice and data to market.

The updated solution enables bundling regardless of service delivery model,
facilities or resale, for example, or network model, such as circuit-switched,
hybrid fiber-coax or IP.

COMX 3.5 features an integrated service availability system that tracks all
services available to a customer based on multiple service variables such as
address or phone number. This function is fully integrated with COMXs advanced product catalog in
order to present sales people with the exact bundles that can be offered to
customers.

Its expanded XML-based provisioning architecture adds support for
flow-through provisioning for cable and cable modem services along with COMXs
native support for voice provisioning.

Flexible pricing capabilities are intended to provide dynamic pricing and
discounting capabilities based on the contents and features of an ordered
bundle.

An advanced installation and repair system can schedule a single installation
appointment across multiple services. These scheduling capabilities determine the work time required for an
appointment based on the skills needed for all services on the order.

COMX 3.5s new product configuration toolset also enables Telution
customers to customize order entry forms and rules through a XMLbased framework

INVIVO PROVIDES BILLING SOLUTION

Invivo Inc. says it has discovered several billing elements some brought
on by new state or federal regulations typically overlooked by CLECs in
their monthly billing to ILECs.

Invivo has developed processes designed to identify and capture the flow of
intercarrier compensation funds left behind due to changes in law (on both a
state and federal level), or services that are being provided to carriers but
are not explicitly stated on the interconnection agreement or in the CLECs
tariff. Invivo provides complaint creation and prosecution with the Public
Service Commission when required.

Invivo investigates billing elements and law changes, then reviews
interconnection and tariff documents for new billing elements for which it might
be appropriate to bill the interconnected carrier.

Invivos billing recovery program can be integrated into existing services,
such as end-user and software-based billing recovery.
