Cloud communications provider IntelePeer Inc. said this week it has expanded the capabilities and options within its CoreCloud UC SIP Trunking service.

First, the service is encrypted with Transport Layer Security and the Secure Real-time Transport Protocol, protecting signaling and multimedia content, and ensuring communications privacy. Next,  there’s a new automated provisioning process that makes the deployment of backup SIP trunks easier, IntelePeer said. This lets organizations implement another level of failover for disaster preparedness, or to meet industry or government requirements, without hassle, according to the company.

Finally, IntelePeer also has released additional features, including the ability to select local DIDs from than 50 countries.

IntelePeers CoreCloud UC SIP Trunking is qualified for many major hosted and on-premise UC platforms, including Microsoft, Avaya and Cisco UC systems. IntelePeer is pursuing certifications for additional brands.

The new SIP trunking options are available immediately.
