Intelisys’ Rick Ribas

“The Intelisys supplier partner portfolio is getting a big boost with Momentum Telecom,” said Rick Ribas, senior vice president of sales of Intelisys’ east region.

Ribas praised Momentum’s hiring of executive vice president Chuck Pizza, who came aboard earlier this year to grow the company’s sales and marketing.

“We believe in Momentum’s commitment to the channel, which is underscored by the hiring of VP Shawn Nauert and EVP Chuck Piazza this year, two dedicated channel veterans, with outstanding Intelisys sales partner relationships,” Ribas said. “As one of the largest BroadSoft providers in the U.S., Momentum Telecom brings support and new opportunities to the growing convergence between the Intelisys and ScanSource communities.”

Momentum is based in Birmingham, Alabama. It provides business voice and broadband management services in addition to UC.

“As Momentum continues to expand globally with the partner community, we are excited to work with Intelisys and their network of partners to empower businesses to thrive,” Chuck Piazza said. “I’m looking forward to working with Intelisys again and believe that together we’ll both be able to experience exponential growth.
