Intelliverse added a suite of IP-based applications to its private-label VoIP service, Intelliverse Wholesale Program.

With the new suite, users can integrate any of the companys IP applications, including Automated Receptionist and Softphone, to their current analog phone systems.

Intelliverse’s Automated Receptionist application is a 24-hour system that automatically answers incoming calls. The Softphone application allows users to make and receive calls using a computer and a headset.

“We have found small businesses are very cautious about making a change away from their local phone service,” said Kevin M. Moran, president and CEO of Intelliverse. “With our new offerings, we are allowing them to use some of the IP features on a more a la carte basis. In doing so, users can become more comfortable before making the ultimate decision to switch completely over to a VoIP solution.”

Intelliverse created these applications to enable service providers and wholesalers to market the services via a low-cost sales channel such as e-commerce and call centers.
