Lightyear Unveils XSTREAM Dynamic T1 Service for Business
February 15, 2005
Lightyear Network Solutions (Booth 125) has come out with a new service called Lightyear XSTREAM Dynamic T1.
Lightyear is on the front wave of the new VoIP economy, leading in the effort to fulfill the demand for better, faster communications. This is the way that businesses will be communicating with their customers and each other in the months and years to come, and Lightyear is first in the market to offer this as a complete IP-based solution for all of their local, long-distance and data needs, says Clay Masters, vice president of sales.
Backed by network providers such as MCI (Booth 201), Level 3 Communications Inc. (Booth 822) and others, Lightyear XSTREAM Dynamic T1 service decreases the complexity and cost of operating a communications system. A free VoIP gateway adds more voice capacity and Internet bandwidth; in the meantime, customers will maintain their current telephone number, receive enhanced 911 service and a Virtual Line option (thus eliminating long-distance calls between its business locations). A reliable Internet backbone guarantees the speed and flexibility of use by dynamically allocating voice and Internet traffic flow according to the volume of operations.
Lightyear XSTREAM Dynamic T1 service free features such as VoIP-to-VoIP calling, location-to-location dialing, LATA-wide local calling and low outbound long-distance rates, along with a host of basic local calling features. In addition, a bundled offering with Lightyears residential VoIP service, Lightyear XSTREAM VoIP, will allow remote employees in numerous locations to talk to each other and company headquarters free of charge.
