Last Mile Connections (LMC), a bandwidth exchange and solutions provider for last mile connectivity, on Thursday announced the company has acquired nine new partners all with multicarrier agreements since launching the LMC Partnership Program three months ago.

The company said its new partnerships extend the geographic footprint of its sales force and bandwidth services. It also said that online reverse auctions with available network suppliers, managed by the LMC Exchange, allow the program to offer competitive commissions.

The LMC Exchange is a 24/7 marketplace that matches buyers and sellers of communications bandwidth services. LMC Partners include more than 150 network-based providers and 30,000 end-user buildings within the LMC Exchange.

LMC said its new sales partners are actively targeting large-bandwidth users, like carriers, ISPs and, now, medium enterprise clients, and have increased its national presence, extending its sales force west with new locations, such as Colorado, Washington and Wyoming, while reinforcing its East Coast presence, particularly in Massachusetts and New Jersey.

LMC said it provides residual pay on billed revenue, and offers partners reduced interconnection and network fees, faster provisioning and standardized contracts for their customers.
